PACTEX Project: Publication of the “Guide for the establishment of synergies between the packaging and textile sectors”<\/strong><\/h5>\nThe PACTEX Project<\/a>, promoted by the Packaging Cluster and the AEI Textiles<\/a> and with the technical advice of Leitat, aims to establish synergies between the companies associated with the textile and packaging clusters and promote among them the circular economy with an effective use of resources. One of the results of the project is the “Guide for the establishment of synergies between the packaging and textile sectors”, since these synergies have proved to be a key point in the prevention of waste from both sectors.<\/em>\n\nTerrassa, April 2, 2019 –<\/strong> In February, the “Guide for the establishment of synergies between the packaging and textile sectors” was published, as one of the results of the PACTEX project. This project aims to reduce the industrial waste of textile and packaging companies to achieve a circular and low carbon economy. Within the framework of the project, proposals for industrial symbiosis and innovative measures have been developed to reuse the material resources of companies and reduce their generation of industrial waste.\n\n

The realization of the PACTEX project has made possible to detect which material resources are currently not used and end up becoming a waste prematurely, and therefore have the potential to be used as raw materials in industries and, thus, return to the value chain. As a result of the project, several proposals for industrial symbiosis have been obtained and have been tested so that they can be applied or serve as inspiration for companies in the packaging and textile sector.<\/p>\n\n

The “Guide for the establishment of synergies between the packaging and textile sectors” is one of the results of the project, and incorporates several proposals for industrial symbiosis to be established between companies in the textile and packaging sectors. The proposals are described in tabular form, to facilitate their understanding and application by companies that want to introduce the principles of the circular economy in their productive process. Some of the examples of the proposals for industrial symbiosis that are collected are the procurement of recycled polypropylene pellets by NG Pl\u00e1sticos and Realplast from waste polypropylene threads from L\u00edas, the manufacture of covers for laptops and other mobile devices by the company Back to Eco from recovered E.CIMA technical fabrics, the manufacture of shoulder bags and other bags by PIDO from Textile Olius textile waste, or the use of textile waste for the manufacture of bags to transport industrial materials, among others. The circular economy wants to preserve the value of products, components and materials, keeping them within the productive and economic systems. Its objective is to close the life cycle of these products, materials and resources, reducing their environmental impact. With the development of the PACTEX project and the creation of the corresponding Guide, Catalan industries in the packaging and textile sector have demonstrated their commitment to move towards a circular, low carbon and eco-innovative economy, which entails numerous environmental benefits.<\/p>\n\n

Proyecto PACTEX: Publicaci\u00f3n de la “Gu\u00eda para el establecimiento de sinergias entre los sectores de packaging y textil”<\/strong><\/h5>\nEl Proyecto PACTEX<\/a>, impulsado por el Packaging Cluster y la AEI Textiles<\/a> y con el asesoramiento t\u00e9cnico del Centro Tecnol\u00f3gico Leitat, tiene como objetivo establecer sinergias entre las empresas asociadas al cl\u00faster textil y al de packaging y fomentar entre ellas la econom\u00eda circular con un uso eficaz de los recursos. Uno de los resultados del proyecto ha sido la “Gu\u00eda para el establecimiento de sinergias entre los sectores de packaging y textil”, ya que estas sinergias han demostrado ser un punto clave en la prevenci\u00f3n de residuos de ambos sectores.<\/em>\n\nTerrassa, 2 de abril de 2019 –<\/strong> En febrero se public\u00f3 la “Gu\u00eda para el establecimiento de sinergias entre los sectores de packaging<\/em> y textil”, uno de los resultados del proyecto PACTEX. Este proyecto pretende reducir los residuos industriales de las empresas de textil y packaging<\/em> para alcanzar una econom\u00eda circular y baja en carbono. En el marco del proyecto se han elaborado propuestas de simbiosis industrial y medidas innovadoras para reutilizar los recursos materiales de las empresas y reducir su generaci\u00f3n de residuos industriales.\n\n

La realizaci\u00f3n del proyecto PACTEX ha permitido detectar cu\u00e1les son los recursos materiales que actualmente no se utilizan y acaban convirti\u00e9ndose en un residuo de forma prematura, y que, por tanto, tienen potencial para emplearse como materias primas en industrias y, as\u00ed, volver a entrar en la cadena de valor. Como resultado del proyecto se han obtenido varias propuestas de simbiosis industrial que han sido testeadas para que puedan ser aplicadas o sirvan de inspiraci\u00f3n para las empresas del sector del envase y embalaje y el textil.<\/p>\n\n

La “Gu\u00eda para el establecimiento de sinergias entre los sectores de packaging<\/em> y textil” es uno de los resultados del proyecto, e incorpora varias propuestas de simbiosis industrial a establecer entre empresas del sector textil y de packaging<\/em>. Las propuestas est\u00e1n descritas en forma de ficha, para facilitar su comprensi\u00f3n y aplicaci\u00f3n por parte de las empresas que quieran introducir los principios de la econom\u00eda circular en su proceso productivo. Algunos de los ejemplos de las propuestas de simbiosis industrial que se recogen son la obtenci\u00f3n de granza de polipropileno reciclado por parte de NG Pl\u00e1sticos y Realplast a partir de residuos de hilos de polipropileno de L\u00edas, la fabricaci\u00f3n de fundas para port\u00e1tiles y otros dispositivos m\u00f3viles por parte de la empresa Back to Eco a partir de tejidos t\u00e9cnicos de E.CIMA recuperados, la fabricaci\u00f3n de bandoleras y otros bolsos por parte PIDO a partir de residuos textiles de Textil Olius, o el uso de residuos textiles para la fabricaci\u00f3n de bolsas para transportar materiales industriales, entre otros. La econom\u00eda circular fomenta preservar el valor de los productos, componentes y materiales, haciendo que estos se mantengan dentro de los sistemas productivos y econ\u00f3micos. Su objetivo es cerrar el ciclo de vida de estos productos, materiales y recursos, reduciendo as\u00ed al m\u00e1ximo su impacto ambiental. Con el desarrollo del proyecto PACTEX y la creaci\u00f3n de la correspondiente Gu\u00eda, las industrias catalanas del sector del envase y el embalaje y del sector del textil han demostrado su compromiso para avanzar hacia una econom\u00eda circular, baja en carbono y eco-innovadora, que conlleva numerosos beneficios ambientales.<\/p>\n\n

Un dels resultats del projecte ha estat la \u201cGuia per a l\u2019establiment de sinergies entre els sectors de packaging i t\u00e8xtil\u201d, ja que aquestes sinergies han demostrat ser un punt clau en la prevenci\u00f3 de residus d\u2019ambd\u00f3s sectors.<\/em>\n\nTerrassa, 2 d’abril del 2019<\/strong> – El mes de febrer es va publicar la \u201cGuia per a l\u2019establiment de sinergies entre els sectors de packaging<\/em> i t\u00e8xtil\u201d, un dels resultats del projecte PACTEX. Aquest projecte pret\u00e9n reduir els residus industrials de les empreses de t\u00e8xtil i packaging<\/em> per assolir una economia circular i baixa en carboni. En el marc del projecte s’han elaborat propostes de simbiosi industrial i mesures innovadores per reutilitzar els recursos materials de les empreses i reduir la seva generaci\u00f3 de residus industrials.\n\n

La realitzaci\u00f3 del projecte PACTEX ha perm\u00e8s detectar quins s\u00f3n els recursos materials que actualment no s’utilitzen i acaben esdevenint un residu de forma prematura, i que, per tant, tenen potencial per emprar-se com a mat\u00e8ries primeres en ind\u00fastries i, d’aquesta manera, tornar a entrar a la cadena de valor. Com a resultat del projecte s\u2019han obtingut diverses propostes de simbiosi industrial que han estat testejades perqu\u00e8 puguin ser aplicades o serveixin d’inspiraci\u00f3 per a les empreses del sector de l’env\u00e0s i l’embalatge i el t\u00e8xtil.<\/p>\n\n

La \u201cGuia per a l\u2019establiment de sinergies entre els sectors de packaging<\/em> i t\u00e8xtil\u201d \u00e9s un dels resultats del projecte, i incorpora diverses propostes de simbiosi industrial a establir entre empreses del sector t\u00e8xtil i de packaging<\/em>. Les propostes estan descrites en forma de fitxa, per a facilitar-ne la comprensi\u00f3 i aplicaci\u00f3 per part de les empreses que vulguin introduir els principis de l\u2019economia circular en el seu proc\u00e9s productiu.
