Simone Colantoni, Eduard Borr\u00e0s, and Mireia Escaler Corominas represented Leitat Technological Center at this event.<\/p><p>In collaboration with our partners at Hysytech s.r.l., we introduced the innovative AD-BES system (bioelectrochemically-enhanced anaerobic digester). This cutting-edge technology converts wastewater from PRIMA PROTEIN AS into valuable biogas, which is then used to generate heat and electricity.<\/p><p>By integrating bioelectrochemical enhancements, the AD-BES system significantly improves the efficiency of anaerobic digestion of wastewater generated at Prima&#8217;s facility, enabling more effective resource recovery and energy generation.<\/p><blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 1.4rem; color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">This project clearly demonstrates how industrial waste can be transformed into clean energy, perfectly aligning with PRIMA PROTEIN\u2019s sustainability goals.
