It is one of the main outcomes from the NanoREG project, apart from all the results that are now available and free for everybody on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nanoreg.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website of the project<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NANoREG framework addresses the need to ease the nanomaterials safety assessment in the REACH Regulation context. It offers forward-looking strategies: Safe-by-Design, a Nanospecific Prioritisation and Risk Assessment, and Life Cycle Assessment. It is intended for scientific experts, regulatory authorities and industry. Hopefully, this will be translated in the near future into a &#8220;nanoregulation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This document is freely available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/bookshop.europa.eu\/en\/nanoreg-framework-for-the-safety-assessment-of-nanomaterials-pbKJNA28550\/?CatalogCategoryID=hwkKABsthN4AAAEjZpEY4e5L\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EU Bookshop<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">LEITAT is proud to have participated in this project and in this document that might have a significant impact.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few weeks ago, in April 2017, the NANoREG consortium published the NANoREG framework for the safety assessment of nanomaterials.
