Partners shared updates on Chlorella cultivation using winery wastewater, including progress on medium optimization, pilot-scale production, and biomass composition. Technical sessions covered developments in off-gas storage systems, energy-efficient harvesting, and the demo-scale cultivation of microalgae. Further discussions addressed the recovery of bioactive compounds from Chlorella for high-value applications in food, cosmetics, and agriculture.<\/p><p>The second day of the meeting concentrated on sustainability modeling, logistics strategies, and the validation of Chlorella-based product prototypes, as well as refining communication strategies to reach stakeholders. The event concluded with project coordination discussions, aligning the consortium\u2019s final steps toward reducing GHG emissions and enhancing resource valorisation in the wine sector.<\/p><p>During the meeting, <strong>Leitat showcased its work on the recovery of bioactive compounds from Chlorella biomass, including pilot-scale tests and ingredient prototype development<\/strong>.
