Discussions covered advancements in transforming winery liquid effluents into microalgae biomass, optimizing systems for capturing and utilizing fermentation off-gas, and scaling up algae cultivation for bioactive compound extraction. Updates highlighted progress in developing products for food, cosmetics, and agriculture, alongside efforts to improve eco-design and prototype validation. Challenges related to operational efficiency, resource use, and stakeholder engagement were addressed, with plans outlined for refining technologies and meeting upcoming deliverables.<\/p><p>The meeting also <strong>reinforced the project&#8217;s alignment with climate goals, emphasizing the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the creation of a circular economy in the wine industry<\/strong>. The session concluded with a focus on ensuring continuous collaboration and knowledge-sharing among partners to drive the project&#8217;s success.<\/p><p>During the meeting, <strong>Leitat reported progress in the recovery of valuable compounds from Chlorella, identifying effective pre-treatment methods and developing initial ingredient prototypes through biomass processing<\/strong>. They also carried out first tests to concentrate volatile organic compounds using membrane-based separation.
