The consortium also reviewed strategies to scale up biofabrication processes and reduce water usage in wet processing. Communication strategies to engage policymakers and raise awareness on sustainable textiles closed the day.<\/p><p>On Day 2, the partners showcased prototypes for luxury fashion and automotive applications, presenting work on material characterization and performance validation. Environmental aspects such as biodegradability, organic recyclability, and life cycle assessment were also addressed. The meeting ended with a focus on market readiness, exploitation plans, and project coordination, reinforcing MY-FI\u2019s commitment to circular, biobased textiles that meet industry standards while reducing environmental impact.<\/p><p>During the meeting, <strong>Leitat presented the characterization results of raw and finished mycelium fabrics, including their resistance after treatment and performance under domestic and dry-cleaning conditions<\/strong>. These findings contribute to demonstrating the durability and application potential of mycelium-based textiles in demanding sectors.<\/p><p>Beyond the technical sessions, the consortium members had
