The Phy2Climate meeting aimed to <strong>review the progress made in phytoremediation and biofuel production<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The first day began with welcome messages and administrative updates, followed by a guided visit to the Serbian pilot site to observe ongoing activities.<\/p><p>The second day focused on technical presentations covering phytoremediation pilot results, conversion of energy crops into biofuel and bio-coke, sustainability analyses, and strategies for business development and dissemination. One of the highlights was the presentation of the annual report on phytoremediation, which includes plant growth data, soil quality improvements, challenges, and lessons learned.<\/p><p>The final day concluded with a presentation from the External Advisory Board (EAB) and a visit to the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops (IFVCNS) demonstration fields.<\/p><p>During the meeting, <strong>Leitat presented its progress under the work package dedicated to designing and implementing phytoremediation pilots at five international locations<\/strong>. Leitat shared comparative results on plant performance, soil quality improvements, and discussed the challenges faced across the pilot sites. Their update also included the monitoring outcomes and knowledge exchange achieved since the last meeting.<\/p><p>Beyond the working sessions, the consortium members enjoyed a lunch at Ethno Village
