{"id":70857,"date":"2024-11-19T10:02:32","date_gmt":"2024-11-19T10:02:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leitat.org\/blog\/trobada-m17-del-consorci-waste4soil-a-kajaszo-hongria\/"},"modified":"2025-05-28T10:56:12","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T10:56:12","slug":"waste4soil-m17-consortium-meeting-in-kajaszo-hungary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leitat.org\/en\/blog\/waste4soil-m17-consortium-meeting-in-kajaszo-hungary\/","title":{"rendered":"Waste4Soil M17 Consortium meeting in Kajaszo, Hungary"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"70857\" class=\"elementor elementor-70857 elementor-70837\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b17dfb7 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"b17dfb7\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-854271c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"854271c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The <strong>Waste4Soil<\/strong> project, formed by <strong>27 partners<\/strong>, held its <strong>M17 consortium meeting on 16\u201317 October 2024 in Kajaszo, Central Transdanubia, Hungary<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The two-day event focused on assessing the project\u2019s progress and coordinating the upcoming actions, particularly those related to the <strong>development of local, bio-based soil improvers derived from food processing residues<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Day one included strategic updates and operational planning across several work areas, such as:<\/p><ul><li>tools to foster circular practices in regional contexts,<\/li><li>co-cration within the Living Labs,<\/li><li>optimization of logistics and nutrients recovery chains, and<\/li><li>formulation of soil improvers adapted to local crop and soil conditions.<\/li><\/ul><p>Partners also reviewed <strong>initial sustainability assessments, business model preparations, and standardization pathways<\/strong>.<\/p><p>On day two, participants visited the <strong>Hungarian Living Lab<\/strong> and engaged in a peer-coaching session, promoting exchange of experiences and joint problem-solving across technical and implementation topics.<\/p><p>The meeting emphasized the role of shared learning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-country coordination as the project transitions into the Living Lab experimentation phase.<\/p><p>During the event, <strong>Leitat<\/strong> shared progress from the <strong>Spanish Living Lab, presenting initial results on the valorisation of biogas digestate from wine and olive residues<\/strong>. They introduced the <strong>anaerobic digestion + submerged bioelectrochemical system (AD-BES) approach<\/strong>.
