This in-person gathering marked a new milestone for the project, providing an important space to review progress, strengthen coordination, and align on both strategic and technical priorities.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"592\">Two Days of Collaboration and Progress<\/h3><p data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"870\">The agenda featured working sessions focused on key aspects of the project, ranging from management and coordination to critical technical developments such as the design of the membrane-less supercritical cell, catalyst and electrode optimisation, and test bench preparation.<\/p><p data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"1200\">The first day began with an institutional welcome, followed by progress meetings, partner updates, and joint planning to ensure alignment across all work packages. In the evening, consortium members shared a group dinner in the city \u2014 an ideal moment to strengthen connections and reinforce the human dimension of collaboration.<\/p><p data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1393\">The second day continued with practical technical exchanges, discussions around system testing, shared challenges, and strategies to maintain momentum and deliver on the project\u2019s objectives.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"1395\" data-end=\"1436\">A Shared Commitment to Clean Hydrogen<\/h3><p data-start=\"1438\" data-end=\"1770\">What stood out most during the meeting was the sense of energy, purpose, and commitment across the consortium. Beyond coordinating tasks and reviewing data, the partners used the opportunity to reflect on achievements to date, identify areas for improvement, and maximise the impact of X-SEED within the European hydrogen landscape.<\/p><p data-start=\"1772\" data-end=\"1932\">With renewed motivation, the team leaves Barcelona more connected and more determined than ever to keep advancing cutting-edge hydrogen technologies \u2014 together.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"592\">About the project<\/h3><p>The main objective of X-SEED is to make renewable hydrogen more affordable. The key innovation is the development of a membrane-less electrolyzer that operates in supercritical water conditions\u2014above 374\u00b0C and 220 bar.
