Leitat concludes its participation in the Mobile World Congress 2026<\/strong> with a very positive balance, marked by the presentation of technological prototypes, the creation of spaces for dialogue on innovation, and the visit of institutional representatives.<\/p>

During the days of the congress, we showcased some of our most recent developments at Fira Barcelona Gran Via<\/strong>, including the following prototypes:<\/p>

  • EGG-NADONS: <\/span><\/b>A compact solution for monitoring the brain encoding of speech. It is a high-resolution, 4-channel compact EEG device designed to record speech-related brain potentials, both cortical and subcortical, across multiple target populations. Developed for clinical environments, it provides high-quality neurophysiological data through a simple and efficient workflow, combining portability with advanced signal fidelity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    • Onorato:<\/span><\/b>A personalized AI-powered parrot designed to care for and accompany elderly people, helping them live safely and happily in their own homes. Each Onorato undergoes three months of training in the virtual parrot farm \u201cOnora Farm,\u201d adapting to the user\u2019s personality through personalized prompts based on a family questionnaire.<\/li><\/ul>

      These are examples of Leitat\u2019s commitment to transferring knowledge into technological solutions with real impact.<\/p>

      This year, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of MWCapital<\/strong>, Leitat had the honor of collaborating with Mobile World Capital Barcelona<\/strong> by presenting the The Bio-Circular Harvest<\/strong> experience, a demonstration based on hyperspectral scanning and data analysis applied to olive cultivation. This initiative showcased how advanced technologies can optimize agricultural production and move towards more efficient, circular, and sustainable models. The experience featured the participation of Montse Jorba<\/strong>, Head of the Bioresources and Agri-Food Technologies Area; Miquel Gibert<\/strong>, from National Promotion and Management; and the colleagues who took part in the roundtable discussion, sharing with visitors the potential of these solutions applied to the agri-food sector.<\/p>

      To provide context and further explore this experience, Leitat participated in a roundtable discussion on the future of the agri-food sector and olive cultivation<\/strong>, where The Bio-Circular Harvest<\/strong> was presented and discussions focused on the role of digitalization, advanced data, and photonics in driving more efficient and sustainable agriculture.       Leitat\u2019s presence also extended to 4YFN 2026<\/strong>, the MWC space dedicated to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.       In addition, on March 3 at 4:30 p.m., Leitat took part in the Tech Transfer Community Day<\/strong>, held at the BEAT Barcelona<\/strong> space, a session focused on the role of technology transfer as a driver of innovation and competitiveness.<\/p>

      Prototypes developed together with clients and collaborators were also showcased, including Emily<\/strong> and Siverius<\/strong>, reflecting the joint work between Leitat and industry to transform knowledge into applied solutions.<\/p>
