    Terrassa, April 29, 2026.<\/strong>– Leitat will once again be one of the main protagonists at <\/span>Advanced Factories<\/span><\/b>, the annual benchmark fair in innovation for professionals in the industrial sector, which will be held from May 5 to 7 at Fira de Barcelona. <\/span><\/span>As a Global Partner of the event, the technological center reaffirms <\/span>its leadership in Industry 4.0 as a technological ally by presenting 14 next-generation prototypes<\/span><\/b>, designed to respond to the challenges of efficiency, digitalization, and sustainability faced by the current industrial fabric. <\/span><\/span>The center’s strategy for this edition focuses on the convergence of three fundamental pillars: <\/span>robotics and automation, artificial intelligence, and additive manufacturing<\/span><\/b>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    The center, which celebrates its 120th anniversary this year, will have an 80 m\u00b2 stand that will act as a meeting point for companies and professionals interested in the latest Industry 4.0 solutions who want to experience the practical application of disruptive technologies firsthand. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Collaborative robotics and automation for complex industrial environments<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h4>

    Among the main developments is a <\/span>humanoid robot with teleoperation capabilities<\/span><\/b>, which integrates artificial intelligence, computer vision, and immersive technologies to facilitate human-machine interaction in industrial environments. <\/span><\/span>The system is able not only to execute tasks but also to interpret and communicate them in real time to the operator, reducing technical complexity and improving process supervision. <\/span><\/span>The prototype is developed through an open innovation collaboration with Invelon Technologies. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    In the field of intralogistics, Leitat will present <\/span>MIXPAL<\/span><\/b>, a collaborative mixed palletizing solution that uses computer vision and optimization algorithms to handle heterogeneous products. <\/span><\/span>This system, developed by a joint consortium with BitMetrics, allows the automation of traditionally manual processes, increasing productivity and reducing errors in highly variable environments. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Artificial intelligence and photonics for a more efficient and sustainable industry<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h4>

    The integration of artificial intelligence into industrial processes will be another of the main axes. <\/span><\/span>In this regard, the <\/span>LEISORT<\/span><\/b> demonstrator will show how the combination of advanced sensors and AI allows for the automated classification of materials, with applications in recycling and the circular economy. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Furthermore, solutions like <\/span>WIBAND<\/span><\/b> demonstrate the potential of digitalization to improve occupational safety by combining real-time localization and automatic recognition of protective equipment. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    In parallel, Leitat will present the <\/span>RECOSEC<\/span><\/b> system, developed by a joint consortium with Bon \u00c0rea, based on hyperspectral technology and capable of analyzing the composition and quality of products in real time without contact or destruction. <\/span><\/span>This solution makes it possible to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve energy efficiency, especially in the agri-food sector. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Advanced manufacturing and new industrial models based on digitalization<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h4>
