The meeting provided an opportunity to assess the progress achieved so far, review the project&#8217;s main developments and align the next steps towards accelerating the adoption of trustworthy artificial intelligence solutions for European SMEs.<\/p><p>One of the highlights of the meeting was the networking event held in Kortrijk with the SMEs selected through the project&#8217;s first Open Call. The event brought together innovators, researchers and industry stakeholders to exchange experiences, showcase AI-driven pilot projects and explore future collaboration opportunities. Participants also visited state-of-the-art research facilities and discussed the potential of AI to address industrial challenges across different sectors.<\/p><p>During the meeting, Leitat presented two industrial use cases that will support the development and validation of AI-based solutions within the project.<\/p><p>The first challenge focuses on <strong>Predictive Maintenance for Energy Infrastructure<\/strong>, leveraging artificial intelligence to analyse thermal, hyperspectral and 3D imaging data in order to detect asset degradation and enable smarter maintenance strategies.<\/p><p>The second challenge addresses <strong>Smart EV Battery Disassembly<\/strong>, combining artificial intelligence, computer vision and robotics to improve the safe and efficient dismantling and recycling of end-of-life electric vehicle batteries.<\/p><p>The meeting reinforced the consortium&#8217;s commitment to fostering collaboration, driving industrial innovation and supporting European SMEs in adopting advanced AI technologies.
