In July, the project V2Cloud, standing for Vehicle to Cloud Communications, finalized after two years of research and development activities. In the framework of this project, Leitat and Advanced Automotive Antennas (A3) part of the Ficosa<\/a> Group<\/a> managed to develop new specifications for vehicle to cloud communications, in order to promote standardization.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The idea behind this project is to study, compare an d promote, according to the constrained environment, the best architecture in terms of databases, protocols, technologies and data sharing and visualization, in order to provide an end to end information channel, able to generate effective information from data collected from cars.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

By this, a new data business model can be generate, by the exploitation of effective real time information gathered from multiple car sources for instance, requirement of maintenance operations due accidents, bad weather conditions, traffic management or speed limits violation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

En julio, finaliz\u00f3 el proyecto V2Cloud, que significa Vehicle to Cloud Communications, despu\u00e9s de dos a\u00f1os de actividades de investigaci\u00f3n y desarrollo. En el marco de este proyecto, Leitat y Advanced Automotive Antennas (A3), parte del Grupo Ficosa<\/a>, lograron desarrollar nuevas especificaciones para las comunicaciones de veh\u00edculos a la nube, con el fin de promover la estandarizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

La idea detr\u00e1s de este proyecto es estudiar, comparar y promover, de acuerdo con el entorno restringido, la mejor arquitectura en t\u00e9rminos de bases de datos, protocolos, tecnolog\u00edas e intercambio de datos y visualizaci\u00f3n, para proporcionar un canal de informaci\u00f3n de extremo a extremo, capaz de generar informaci\u00f3n efectiva a partir de los datos recopilados de los autom\u00f3viles.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Con esto, se puede generar un nuevo modelo de negocio de datos, explotando informaci\u00f3n efectiva en tiempo real obtenida de m\u00faltiples fuentes de autom\u00f3viles, por ejemplo, requerimiento de operaciones de mantenimiento debido a accidentes, malas condiciones clim\u00e1ticas, manejo del tr\u00e1fico o violaci\u00f3n de los l\u00edmites de velocidad.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
