It analyzes their environmental impact and technical functionalities and promotes best practices for the sector.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The project, which will finish next year, held a meeting at the beginning of this month in Barcelona to review in depth the progress made so far on all project&#8217;s actions. The consortium gathered inputs from its external advisory board, including experts such as Ms. Dunja Drmac, Sustainability Officer at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euratex.eu\/\">EURATEX<\/a>, Mr. Eric Sitters, from Flame Retardant Europe association, Prof. Monica Ardanuy, textile professor at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upc.edu\/intexter\/es\">Universitat Polit\u00c3\u00a8cnica de Catalunya<\/a> and Mr. Denis Mottet, scientific officer at the European Chemicals Agency (<a href=\"https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/\">ECHA<\/a>).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The consortium met at the CSIC\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Institute for Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC) in Barcelona, where the consortium reviewed various achievements, such as the recently published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.life-flarex.eu\/download\/5280\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report on the technical performance of alternative flame retardants<\/a> conducted at pre-industrial scale.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Next, industrial demonstrations at partners&#8217; facilities will start in the coming weeks: E.
