This innovative initiative will transform biogenic organic waste and carbon dioxide into liquid and gaseous biofuels for direct use in fuel cells.\u00a0<\/p><p>By combining cutting-edge conversion technologies in an integrated platform, Fuels-C aims to produce four different biofuels\u2014methane, ethanol, formic acid, and ammonia\u2014tailored for maritime and road transportation modes. This approach maximizes energy efficiency while minimising our environmental footprint.\u00a0<\/p><p>This project represents a major leap forward in decarbonising transportation and boosting the circular economy. It is expected to create new business opportunities and strengthen the EU&#8217;s leadership in the biofuels market.
