The SEPAWA Congress is one of the largest specialist associations in Europe, where experts from the detergents\/cleansers, cosmetics, and perfume industries gather from all over the continent. Professionals from both small and medium-sized businesses and major companies, scientists from industry and the university sector, as well as representatives of authorities and consumer associations, use SEPAWA for dialogue and interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rosa Escudero is leading the research activities of the Mermaids project within LEITAT and is head of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods department. Mermaids is a research project that contributes to the mitigation of the impact caused by micro and\/or nanoplastic particles resulting from laundry wastewater on European seas&#8217; ecosystems. The project demonstrates and implements innovative technologies and additives for laundry processes and textile finishing treatments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme of the congress can be accessed here. The congress will take place in Fulda, Germany, from the 14th to the 16th of October.
