REMEMBRANE, a European project, proposes solutions to recover these materials in an innovative way. The project will hold its final conference on the 29th of October 2015 in Barcelona. The event will be hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iqs.edu\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Institut Qu\u00edmic de Sarri\u00e0<\/a>. Download the agenda <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Jornada-REMEMBRANE-IQS-29_10_20152-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">REMEMBRANE proposes a demonstration plant in which diverse mechanical and chemical treatments are developed in order to recover these membranes to reuse them in the same desalination process or in other applications that require a lower quality water specification, but always within reverse osmosis technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>REMEMBRANE<\/em> proposes an environmentally friendly and innovative technology that aims to improve the efficiency of membrane recovery for the same or other applications, avoiding landfill disposal and lengthening the membrane\u2019s life cycle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What should be done with old reverse osmosis membranes?
