This session set the tone for the final discussions held on 12 December, highlighting the project&#8217;s remarkable achievements:<\/p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li><p><strong>Bioink Optimisation<\/strong>: Significant advancements in the formulation of bioinks to enhance their biocompatibility and functionality.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Nanoencapsulation of Growth Factors<\/strong>: Pioneering efforts to ensure sustained release of therapeutic agents, fostering tissue regeneration.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Successful Bioprinting<\/strong>: Creation of functional prototypes showcasing the feasibility of 3D bioprinting for complex tissue structures.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>Preclinical studies using rat and sheep models demonstrated encouraging outcomes for Achilles tendon and cartilage repair, underscoring the potential impact of TRiAnkle\u2019s innovations.
