WHAT IS CE MARKING?

CE marking shows that a product has been assessed by the manufacturer and is considered to comply with the EU health, safety, and environmental protection requirements.

CE marking is a necessary accreditation for products made anywhere in the world that are commercialised in the EU.

WHEN IS CE MARKING COMPULSORY?

This type of marking is compulsory only for some products with EU specifications requiring CE marking.

Before affixing the CE marking, compliance of the product with all applicable requirements should be ensured. CE marking on products having no EU specifications or not requiring that marking is forbidden.

HOW TO AFFIX CE MARKING?

The CE marking should be placed in such a way as to be visible, legible, and indelible.

Both letters should be at the same height and not less than 5mm ( unless otherwise specified in the requirements of the respective product).

Changes to the nomenclature can be made provided that the size of the letters is respected.

If the CE marking cannot be affixed on the same product, it should be affixed on the packaging.
