Leitat’s Advanced Technological Services (ATS) Department focuses its activity on the characterization, determination of behavior and validation of materials, parts and components from a wide variety of sectors.

We have more than 30 years of experience as an accredited center according to UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 for different types of tests and materials.

Our team’s mission is to provide reliability and guaranteed results to our customers, adding value to their products while maintaining a close approach that fosters smooth and honest communication. We offer adaptation and flexibility, and we put our knowledge at the service of our customers, in order to help them solve problems and improve their efficiency, productivity and competitiveness.

Jordi Jamilena

Head of the advanced technological services Department

Jordi Jamilena has a diploma in Industrial Technical Engineering – Chemical-Textile Specialty – and an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from UPC. His professional career has mainly focused on the field of materials science, although he has also been dedicated to the automotive industrial engineering sector, the industrial production of non-woven materials and plastic parts for the automobile and the management of testing and quality laboratories in the automotive sector. He has participated in various research projects, both national and international, as well as in numerous congresses and workshops in the field of applied research in materials and plastics. He is currently the director of the Advanced Technological Services Department at Leitat.
