a.This body shall not, under any circumstances, be held liable for the interpretation or improper use of the documents it issues.

b. This document attests solely to the samples submitted for testing or analysis by this body, in accordance with the standards and/or technical specifications stated in the report, thereby limiting the professional and legal responsibility of the body strictly to these matters. This excludes those samples taken for internal production control at random intervals (Module C2).

c. Unless expressly indicated otherwise, the samples received have been freely selected and submitted by the applicant, except for those samples taken for internal production control at random intervals (Module C2).

d. It is the sole responsibility of the manufacturer to provide specific information regarding these documents and the verified protection levels.

e. The use of this NB’s identification number is authorised exclusively in those documents for which the Regulation expressly requires it (Information Leaflet and Technical Documentation).

f. The applicant must cease using the certification in any promotional material immediately after it has been suspended, withdrawn, or has reached the end of its validity period.

g. Without prejudice to its obligations towards the notifying authorities, this notified body shall disclose the content of these documents, in whole or in part, only with the manufacturer’s consent.

h. This body accepts no liability for any information included in this document that has been provided by the applicant and is not suitable for verification.

i. The printing of documents issued in digital format shall be regarded as a copy. Only if expressly requested by the client may the notified body provide an authenticated copy, bearing either a handwritten signature or a certified electronic signature. Documents issued in paper format, with handwritten signatures, shall be considered originals. Likewise, only if expressly requested by the client may the notified body provide authenticated copies.

j. The body shall retain this documentation together with a representative sample of the certified PPE for a period of ten years.

k. Any claim regarding the samples must be made within the period during which they are stored, and failure to do so shall exempt the body from all liability.

l. CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENT: In accordance with the terms agreed in the contractual document. The total or partial reproduction, modification, or use of the contents of this report for advertising purposes is prohibited without the prior written approval of Leitat.
