On May 13th, 14th and 15th, 2025, the partners of the INFINITE project – Industrialised Durable Building Envelope Retrofitting by All-in-one Interconnected Technology Solutions – gathered in Florence for their 10th Consortium Meeting, hosted at the premises of partner CASA SPA.
During the sessions, the consortium reviewed the overall status of the project as well as the ongoing tasks and activities. Representing Leitat, Mirco Riganti and Ainhoa Gaudes actively participated in the discussions. Among the activities where Leitat is involved, the team presented the window kit that will be implemented in the Slovenian demo case, aiming to improve the building’s energy performance. Once installed, Leitat will also carry out monitoring and follow-up to assess the kit’s impact on energy efficiency.
The meeting also offered an excellent chance to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and discuss upcoming milestones. From Leitat’s side, as leaders for the use of the integrated smart window kit, it was particularly valuable to assess the advances at the demo sites, where most retrofit kits have already been installed, and to address the latest adjustments, challenges, and forthcoming monitoring activities to evaluate both comfort improvements and energy savings.
