Leitat will participate for the first time in SICUR 2026, the International Security Exhibition, to be held at IFEMA Madrid from 24 to 27 February 2026. This presence marks the start of Leitat’s participation in sector-specific trade fairs and coincides with a particularly significant year for the technological centre, as it celebrates 120 years of history driving innovation and knowledge transfer to industry.
SICUR is the leading event in Spain in the field of comprehensive security, bringing together companies, professionals and institutions from the public and private sectors to showcase the latest solutions and trends in physical security, cybersecurity, emergency management and occupational safety.
In this context, Leitat will be present at stand 6A27 (Hall 6), where it will present its specialised testing and certification services in the field of security.

- Testing and trial services (STA), with more than 80,000 tests carried out over the last 10 years, for the analysis, validation and characterisation of materials and products in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- CE certification of Personal Protective Equipment (NB), as EU Notified Body No. 0162, with experience in Category II and III PPE, ensuring rigorous, reliable and efficient processes.
Depending on each project, Leitat acts either as a testing laboratory or as a certification body, always ensuring impartiality, independence and regulatory compliance.
