From November 17 to 20, Leitat will participate in MEDICA 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for medical technology, held annually at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany. This year, Leitat will join the ACCIÓ stand (F04-2 in Hall 15), supporting Catalan companies with high-impact solutions in the healthcare sector.
During the fair, Leitat will highlight OGYX, a potential technology-based spin-off fostered by Leitat Ventures, built on an innovative Organ-on-a-Chip platform designed to replicate human physiological functions at micro-scale. This technology represents one of the center’s strategic initiatives to advance drug discovery and preclinical testing, contributing to more predictive, efficient, and sustainable biomedical research.
In addition to OGYX, Leitat will showcase several other cutting-edge prototypes, including μ-Valve, Enzyme Screening Platform, and i-Diabetes, demonstrating the breadth of the center’s expertise and commitment to developing practical solutions for healthcare and life sciences.
