RAWMINA Partners Celebrate the Final Consortium Meeting Online

On July 2nd, the RAWMINA consortium convened online to celebrate the Final Consortium Meeting, marking the 51st month of this ambitious Horizon Europe project. This virtual gathering provided a space to reflect on the progress made and to align efforts as we approach the project’s final phase.

While this meeting was held remotely, preparations are underway for one final in-person event: the Final Review Meeting, which will take place near Seville. There, the consortium will present the outcomes of the pilot plant to the Project Officer and the scientific review panel.

During the session, key updates were shared from several core work packages:

  • System Engineering & Demonstration – Led by Cobre Las Cruces (CLC), this work package focused on the final integration of the pilot system.
  • Sustainability & Social Innovation – Presented by Universitat de Vic (UVIC), highlighting the environmental and social impacts of RAWMINA technologies.
  • Communication & Dissemination – Coordinated by Crowdhelix, this update showcased outreach activities, including scientific publications, policy briefs, and public engagement events.
  • Exploitation & Commercialization – Led by Inlecom Commercial Pathways (ILC), focusing on the project’s market potential and the identification of exploitable results.

This meeting was not only a moment to review progress but also to celebrate the strong collaboration that has defined RAWMINA since its inception. As we enter the final stretch, the consortium is more motivated than ever to maximize the project’s impact and contribute to the EU’s goals on critical raw materials and circular economy innovation.
