The IAM3DHUB, operated and managed by Leitat, has successfully concluded its participation at Formnext 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for 3D printing and additive manufacturing, held from 18 to 21 November in Frankfurt. Once again, the technological centre, through the presence of the IAM3DHUB, reinforced its role as a key player in the digital and sustainable transformation of European industry.
A consolidated presence in the European additive manufacturing ecosystem
Since its first booth in 2019, the presence of the IAM3DHUB at Formnext has grown steadily. In this edition, the team was once again located at Booth B09 (Hall 12.1), a meeting point for companies, institutions and technology centres interested in learning about technologies, projects and services aimed at the industrial adoption of additive manufacturing.
Spain, Guest Country of Formnext 2025
This year’s edition took on a special relevance, as Spain was selected as the Guest Country within the Formnext Guest Country Initiative. This distinction made it possible to highlight initiatives and success stories from the territory, placing Spanish innovation in a prominent position on the international stage.
Participation in strategic sessions and initiatives
The IAM3DHUB also took part in two interventions on the main stage of the congress. Among them was a joint presentation with Norwegian AM, Finnish AM Ecosystem, AM Austria and the Catalan Society of Technology to present the Addliance initiative and the results of the Global AM Hubs Summit, of which Formnext is an institutional partner.
In addition, a short three-minute pitch was delivered as part of a project led by the Catalan Society of Technology, with the support of the Hub.
Driving the advancement of additive manufacturing
Participation in Formnext reaffirms Leitat’s commitment to applied research, the industrialisation of new technologies, and collaboration with companies and institutions. Through the IAM3DHUB, the centre continues to provide a benchmark space for innovation, sustainability and the adoption of advanced manufacturing.
