COMINACT

Abstract:

The COMINACT project aims to develop an immersive and collaborative digital platform to carry out anticipatory commissioning of industrial assets in virtual environments, prior to their actual deployment at the client’s facilities. This solution will enable safe, accurate, and efficient verification of system behavior.

The main innovation of COMINACT lies in its comprehensive approach: it combines virtual reality technologies, 3D reconstruction, industrial automation, and digital traceability, allowing multiple users to interact naturally and in real time with systems from different locations.

Among its key advances is natural gestural interaction with dynamic assets, such as robots, in a virtual environment that replicates real conditions. Additionally, it incorporates tools for traceability and certification of tests, complying with regulatory requirements such as machine safety standards.

Thanks to its interdisciplinary approach, COMINACT offers a pioneering solution that will transform the industrial commissioning process, improving efficiency, safety, and reliability.
