The NINFA consortium, coordinated by Leitat, recently held its Month 36 consortium meeting to review progress and align upcoming activities across all partners.
During the meeting, the team discussed updates from each work package, addressed challenges, and confirmed timelines for upcoming deliverables, ensuring the project stays on track.
A key point was the progress on the NINFA social game and digital platform, now in an advanced stage. Coordinated by Leitat, these tools are designed to engage users through interactive learning and practical applications, and their launch is approaching.
The meeting also allowed partners to align on next steps and confirm that the project continues progressing smoothly, with strong collaboration across the consortium.
Leitat, as project coordinator, continues to oversee the technical and strategic alignment of all partners, supporting the development of innovative solutions and ensuring the project’s objectives are met.
Further updates will be shared in the coming months as the platform and social game move closer to launch.
About the project:
NINFA aims to protect groundwater from pollution, salinity intrusion, and climate change impacts. Using an early-warning decision support system and innovative monitoring, modelling, and treatment solutions, the project addresses diverse contaminants—including nutrients, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, microplastics, and heavy metals—while enhancing water quality, aquifer resilience, and sustainable management.
