Leitat will participate in European Hydrogen Week 2026, taking place from 26 to 30 October at Brussels Expo in Brussels, Belgium, where the centre will present its capabilities and projects contributing to the development cleaner, more cost-competitive and more sustainable hydrogen technologies. Leitat will be located at the HER Pavilion, stand F30.
As part of its participation, Leitat will showcase the PROMISERS and X-SEED projects:
- PROMISERS focuses on the development of novel PFAS-free components for PEM fuel cells and PEM electrolyzers, using hydrocarbon- and cellulose-based materials.
- X-SEED aims to make renewable hydrogen more affordable through the development of a membrane-less electrolyzer operating under supercritical water conditions, supporting improvements in energy efficiency, sustainability and system longevity.
European Hydrogen Week brings together institutions, industry and investors from across the hydrogen sector to explore market trends, regulatory developments, strategic projects and opportunities for collaboration. Leitat’s participation will provide an opportunity to connect with industrial companies, technology providers, R&D and innovation partners, project developers, research organisations, industry clusters and public authorities.
