In 1906, during the industrial revolution, an initiative was born in Terrassa with a clear goal: to put science at the service of industry. This was the beginning of our journey, when we were known as Acondicionamiento Tarrasense.
From that first stove used to determine the real weight of wool, until today, we have kept the same mission: applying our knowledge to tackle real challenges in the industrial sector.
This new video, in documentary format, takes a look at the key moments of our 120-year history. From our origins as a leading textile laboratory, through our transformation and diversification into new areas, to our consolidation as a multidisciplinary technology center.
Today, we support companies in their technological challenges, promoting knowledge transfer and innovation to improve competitiveness. From our laboratories, we develop solutions in areas such as additive manufacturing, new materials, healthcare, energy, digitalization… among many others. This diverse activity reflects our ability to adapt and evolve continuously over time.
In the last 20 years, we have supported more than 7,500 companies in over 40 countries, with extensive experience in national and European projects. We continue evolving to anticipate the challenges of the future.
120 years have passed since that first stove, and today that initial spark is still alive, driving new solutions for a more sustainable, digital, and competitive industry.
