On November 12–13, the AM4BAT consortium gathered in Willstätt (Germany) for its 8th General Assembly. Over two intensive days, partners reviewed technical progress, shared insights, and aligned on next steps to keep pushing the boundaries of solid-state battery innovation.
AM4BAT is a European initiative focused on developing advanced solutions for solid-state battery manufacturing, accelerating Europe’s energy transition. The project addresses key technologies such as hybrid solid electrolytes, cathode composite optimisation, tailored current collectors for anode-free systems, advanced modelling, and validation strategies for next-generation cells.
Leitat plays an active role in the project, contributing to research, characterisation, and process development to support innovative cell manufacturing and validation.
Through this collaboration, the consortium reinforces its commitment to sustainable e-mobility and safe energy storage, fully aligned with Horizon Europe goals.
