Within the framework of the collaborative project between the company GPASeabots and Leitat, a customization of an existing monitoring and management software called QGroundController has been developed, with the aim of improving the control and automation of tasks for semi-autonomous and unmanned marine vehicles operating on the water’s surface.
Leitat’s Software and Artificial Intelligence team will support GPASeabots in developing new functionalities and improvements to the current software, with specific tools applied to the nautical sector. Subsequently, tests have been carried out in a simulated real environment to validate the implemented functionality.
With this project, the operators of the marine vehicles produced by GPASeabots will have customized visualization layers and more automated tasks, facilitating both the interpretation of results and, especially, the operation of the mission, improving their operational efficiency and the accuracy of the target mission.
