Leitat concludes its participation in the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2025, reaffirming its commitment to applied innovation

Leitat has concluded its participation in the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2025, held from November 25 to 27 at Fira de Lleida, after three days of intense activity, knowledge exchange, and the presentation of cutting-edge technological solutions for the agri-food and bioeconomy sectors.

During this edition, our team had the opportunity to showcase a representative selection of the prototypes and demonstrators we develop within national and European projects, as well as in direct collaboration with companies from the ecosystem. These prototypes range from new biotechnological approaches and digitalization systems to advanced devices, new models for productive efficiency, resource-recovery solutions, and technologies applied to agricultural and industrial environments. Their exhibition allowed visitors and professionals to see first-hand how Leitat transforms research into tools ready to be validated, scaled up, and transferred to the market.

Technical talks and presentations were another highlight of our participation. Throughout the programme, Leitat researchers shared new approaches and results in key areas such as applied microfluidics, resource valorization, water efficiency, CO₂ conversion, and advanced encapsulation, among others. These sessions opened up dialogue with companies, professionals, and sector stakeholders seeking technological solutions capable of addressing current challenges: sustainability, productivity, safety, and the transition towards more circular and intelligent models.

Furthermore, our involvement in round tables and collaborative spaces reinforced Leitat’s role as a connector between science, industry, and public administration, fostering technological transfer and cooperation among different organisations. Participation in strategic debates highlighted the importance of joining capabilities to accelerate the adoption of new technologies and maximise the impact of innovation across the agri-food value chain.

We would like to thank all those who visited our stand 5060-5061, attended our presentations, or showed interest in the projects and technologies we develop. Your participation and contributions helped enrich an event that, year after year, consolidates itself as a benchmark in accelerating applied innovation within the sector.

We conclude this edition with new collaboration opportunities and with a strengthened conviction that technology, research, and joint work are key to building a more sustainable, efficient, and resilient agri-food sector.

We continue working to bring innovation from the laboratory to the market and to support companies and institutions in their transition towards higher value-added models.
