RECOSEC

The project aims to digitally transform the production process of pet food through intelligent tools that allow autonomous monitoring and control of operational parameters. This will enable the anticipation of deviations, improve quality control, reduce energy consumption, minimize the use of raw materials, and decrease waste generation, thus contributing to a more sustainable, efficient, and competitive industry.

The specific objectives of the project include reducing moisture variability in the final product to below 2%, increasing energy efficiency by 8%, and reducing waste generation by 1%. These achievements will have a positive economic impact, enhance the reputation of the participating companies, and align with national and international strategies on climate neutrality, waste reduction, digitalization, and sustainable industry.

The project focuses on the development of innovative digital tools such as a multiparametric artificial intelligence system to detect trends and causal relationships, an autonomous hyperspectral vision system, online vision systems, and a software architecture optimized to reduce latency and overhead.
