Elena Torralba, Principal Researcher in Photonics and Vision at Leitat, took part in a new Conexión Barcelona session organised by Metrópoli Barcelona and Harmon, moderated by Pau Solanilla, Partner for the Public Sector at Harmon, with Rubèn Perales, Technology and Operations Manager at Grupo Solport, and Rafael Katime, IT Director at Sylo.
During the session, Elena shared her own reskilling experience and highlighted the importance of continuous learning, adaptability and stronger links between universities and industry from the early stages of education. The discussion also explored the value of hybrid profiles, soft skills and young talent in addressing the changes brought by Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence.
