The BOHEALTH project comes to an end, and the final event «Innovation for Environmental Improvement in Healthcare Centres» will be celebrated on the 24th of May. The main aim of the project is the reduction of the environmental impact associated with the healthcare sector. That is why other innovative initiatives related to the environmental behavior of the sector will be presented at the final event. These European projects are as follows:
- EU HCWM project, aimed at innovative training in sanitary waste management.
- SMART HOSPITAL project, with the main objective of applying best practices to reduce the climate footprint in healthcare centres.
- RESSEPE project, applying innovative technologies to modernize healthcare buildings.
- OPERE project, which aims to implement efficient management systems for the energy network in existing complexes with large energy consumption.
- A project to minimize the waste of uneaten meals at hospitals.
