Leitat Wraps Up MEDICA 2025: Innovation and Technology for Healthcare

Leitat successfully concluded its participation in MEDICA 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for medical technology, held from November 17 to 20 at Messe Düsseldorf. During these four days, the Leitat team was present at the ACCIÓ stand, showcasing innovative solutions that combine advanced research with industrial applications.

Key technologies presented at the fair included:

  • OGYX: An Organ-on-a-Chip platform based on a patented design, replicating human physiological functions at a microscale and opening new opportunities in drug discovery and preclinical testing.

  • μ-Valve: A patented microvalve technology designed for precise control and sequencing of microfluids, enabling rapid, accurate, and multi-parameter testing without external pumps.

  • Enzyme Screening Platform: An advanced high-throughput platform for enzyme screening, offering multiplexed analysis with 54 wells and compatibility with standard laboratory equipment for efficient and cost-effective research.

  • i-Diabetes: An innovative non-invasive device that detects blood glucose levels from saliva, providing superior precision and comfort for diabetes monitoring, improving patient adherence and quality of life.

A special highlight of the event was the pitch delivered by Pooya Azizian, who presented the OGYX project to an international audience of healthcare and medtech experts. His presentation underscored the platform’s potential to accelerate drug discovery and enhance the reliability of early-stage testing.

MEDICA 2025 provided a unique opportunity to connect with researchers, companies, and global healthcare leaders, present cutting-edge prototypes, and explore collaborations that drive technological innovation in healthcare.

Leitat thanks all visitors and partners who joined us at the stand and looks forward to continuing to develop solutions that transform biomedical research and healthcare delivery.
