Leitat hosts the GeoS-TECHIS consortium meeting at the midpoint of the project implementation

  • The technological centre organised a new meeting in Terrassa and Barcelona to continue advancing innovative solutions for a more sustainable industry.

Leitat recently hosted the consortium meeting of the European project GeoS-TECHIS, held in Terrassa and Barcelona, marking an important milestone in the project: the midpoint of its implementation.

During the two working days, project partners shared the latest technical progress, reinforcing coordination across work packages and aligning the next steps with the overall objectives of the project.

The first day took place at Leitat’s headquarters in Terrassa, where participants had the opportunity to discover some of the centre’s technological capabilities through a guided laboratory tour. The session also allowed partners to further discuss the technical progress achieved so far and strengthen collaboration across the consortium.

In this context, Leitat would especially like to thank the groups Advanced Industrial Fluids (SURCHEM) and Environment (UMA) for their participation during the visit to the facilities.

The second day was held at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, where the consortium addressed key topics related to sustainability, social integration and the role of artificial intelligence within the project.

Partners also reviewed dissemination and exploitation strategies to maximise the impact of the results achieved so far, as well as the next steps towards the project’s first reporting process to the European Commission.

Through the GeoS-TECHIS project, the consortium continues working together to promote innovative solutions aimed at building a more sustainable and efficient industry.
