Microplastics in the environment are a significant issue in today’s world, and LEITAT is dedicating resources to developing innovative solutions. The MERMAIDS project is a prime example of how we are working to reduce microplastics in wastewater. However, more needs to be done. To further address this issue, LEITAT is attending the international conference on Microplastics in the environment, which will be held in Cologne, Germany.
The conference will focus on analyzing the sources, impacts, and solutions to the microplastic problem. It will take place on the 23rd and 24th of November 2015 at the Maternushaus in Cologne. Contact our maritime experts if you are also attending the event, or if you’d like more information. You can download the conference agenda here.
