Successful Annual Meeting of the LUPYPLAST Project in Toledo

On March 11, 2025, the annual meeting of the LUPYPLAST project took place in Toledo. It was an inspiring and productive day filled with scientific discussions, including an insightful visit to Neoliquid’s pyrolysis pilot plant at the Toledo Ecopark.

During the event, the Leitat team (Sandra Martínez, Gerard Martí, Camila Hope, Mireia Solà, and Gabriela Macías) shared the latest advancements in the project activities they are involved in, focusing on plastic waste conversion and valorization. The meeting also strengthened collaboration with the rest of the consortium, which includes Brugarolas, Neoliquid, the University of Alcalá, and IQAC-CSIC.

LUPYPLAST aims to develop an innovative and efficient solution for the valorization of industrial plastic waste. The project seeks to transform these residues into high-value-added products such as lubricants and nanocarbons for catalytic applications.

The CPP2022-009909 project is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the State Research Agency.
