The partners of the GeoS-TECHIS project gathered in Trondheim, Norway, on 15–16 October 2025 for two days of collaboration and knowledge exchange hosted by SINTEF Energy Research.
The meeting started with updates from all partners — both onsite and online — showcasing progress across Work Packages 1–7 over the past six months. The first day concluded with a visit to SINTEF’s Thermal Engineering Laboratory (VATL), where participants explored the ongoing research conducted at the facilities.
The second day focused on interactive technical sessions, including two collaborative workshops:
- GeoCluster workshop preparation
- Masterclass on geothermal modelling
Representing Leitat, Gabriela Macías (Senior Researcher, SURCHEM-LIC) and Eloy Miñano (Researcher, UMA-ENV) actively contributed to discussions, sharing their expertise to support the project’s objectives.
A special thanks to SINTEF for their hospitality and excellent organization, and to all partners for two inspiring days of teamwork driving the future of geothermal energy innovation.
