On October 21st and 22nd, Leitat hosted the 12-month Consortium Meeting of the UNIVERSWATER project at its facilities in Terrassa. This milestone provided an excellent opportunity for all partners to meet face to face, review the progress achieved during the first year of implementation, and plan the activities for the months ahead.
The two-day meeting included a comprehensive overview of the work carried out within each Work Package (WP). Project partners presented their progress, shared lessons learned, and discussed the main technical results obtained so far. The discussions also focused on ensuring strong coordination among the different activities, and addressing the main challenges encountered during the execution of the project.
To foster deeper collaboration, several parallel sessions were organized, allowing smaller working groups to focus on specific tasks and technical aspects. These sessions encouraged open dialogue among partners, facilitating the exchange of ideas, troubleshooting of common issues, and the alignment of strategies to accelerate the project’s development.
As leader of Work Package 4 (WP4), Leitat presented the latest advancements and upcoming activities within this area, highlighting its contribution to the overall objectives of UNIVERSWATER. The WP4 focuses on developing innovative approaches and methodologies that will support the project’s ambition to enhance water management and promote the sustainable use of water resources.
The meeting stablished a roadmap for the next steps to assure the achievement of prominent results that can contribute to a more sustainable and efficient management of water systems.
