On 26 November, Catalonia will host the third regional event of the SOLSTICE project, organised by the Agència de Residus de Catalunya, Leitat and Textile ETP, with the collaboration of the project’s Catalan partners, TEXFOR, Idresmat and Cromogenia.
The event aims to contribute to the sustainability and circularity of the Catalan textile ecosystem, with a particular focus on reuse, repair and textile waste prevention. It will also offer participants a practical introduction to the chemical recycling of textiles. In addition, the event will provide an opportunity to showcase the activities and results of the SOLSTICE project.
The programme will include a presentation of the SOLSTICE project, the results of the territorial analysis of Catalonia’s textile ecosystem, the presentation of the Catalan pilot developed within the project, a session dedicated to chemical recycling applied to textiles, and various regional initiatives related to reuse, repair and other circularity strategies in the textile sector.
Participation is open to everyone interested, and registration is available via the following link: Registration.
The event has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under GA No. 101134989.
