New wireless charging solution for Electric Vehicles based on a new magnetic concrete and a new inductive coupling approach through resonance between coils.
Abstract:
The MAGNECRETE project aims to develop a wireless charging system for electric vehicles based on a special magnetic concrete integrated into the pavement and advanced electronics that enable efficient energy transfer without the need for precise alignment between coils.
Materials with high conductivity and magnetic permeability will be developed, together with electronics capable of transferring between 4 and 8 kW with high efficiency and tolerance to misalignments.
MAGNECRETE will enable automatic, flexible, safe, and functional charging in different environments, including dynamic charging that provides unlimited autonomy to vehicles.
Finally, a full-scale demonstrator will be built and validated under both static and dynamic operating conditions.
