The ZeroF Project Kick-Off and Its Mission for Safe and Sustainable PFAS-Free Alternatives

The ZeroF Project is dedicated to developing safe and sustainable alternatives to replace PFAS compounds in the food packaging and upholstery textile value chains. Aiming to promote innovative solutions that minimize environmental impact, ZeroF seeks to eliminate the use of these problematic compounds. The project team recently held its kick-off meeting at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). After more than a year without in-person gatherings since the last meeting in Espoo, Finland, the team was excited to reconnect and explore the innovative facilities at LIST labs. During this important meeting, crucial updates were discussed, and the next steps were planned on their journey towards developing PFAS-free alternatives. With 491 followers, the ZeroF Project is committed to researching and developing solutions that are not only effective but also environmentally friendly. The project’s mission is essential to ensuring a safer and more sustainable future for generations to come.
