Created by the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) in 1964, the EVS is widely recognized as the premier global forum for the electric transport industry, which showcases not only all types of already-available solutions but also innovations that are still on the drawing boards—from small battery-powered electric vehicles to hydrogen fuel cell buses.
Targeting mainly professionals, EVS27 showcased the latest technical advances and products developed in this field, featuring an exhibition area and the «Ride, Drive and Charge» zone, in which the public was able to test all kinds of different electric vehicles.
LEITAT participated in the event dedicated to green vehicles in HORIZON 2020 within the EVS exhibition, where some of LEITAT’s projects were showcased by different project partners. For example, the FP7 STABLE project poster was presented by partner ELAPHE at their stand, where LEITAT is dedicated to the development of battery electrochemistry for electric vehicles. Another project where LEITAT is a partner was showcased by SEAT: Project VERDE, dedicated to research and knowledge generation about the manufacture and integration of the full electric vehicle in the Spain Ministry of Science and Innovation, National Strategic Consortium Project in Technical Research (CENIT), 2009.
