On February 11–12, 2025, the partners of the REDWine project gathered at ALGAMA’s facilities in Paris for the M46 General Assembly. The meeting focused on reviewing recent progress and agreeing on the next steps as the project approaches its final stage.
Beyond the working sessions, participants visited the iconic Montmartre urban vineyards and took part in a sensory panel co-organized by Leitat and ALGAMA. The activity involved tasting a bun and vegan salmon, followed by a comparison with versions made using microalgae extract.
REDWine promotes a circular business model by reusing CO₂ from wine fermentation to produce microalgae biomass, with applications in food, cosmetics, and agriculture.
