ABSTRACT
The main objectives of GRAIN are to identify and assess the future development of large-scale simulation methods and tools necessary for ecological technologies in 6 areas: reductions of Nox and contrail emissions, reduction CO2 emissions, noise reduction, ecological materials, and methodologies for large-scale and high performance with advanced IT tools. GRAIN seeks the development and exploitation of R&D with new tools to large-scale simulation of parallel distribution to know them better and minimize the effects on the climate of aircraft and engines design and the noise impact. This project aims to improve the open collaboration between Europe and China in the field of research and aerospace engineering.
