New nanomaterials driven by artificial intelligence and industrial biotechnology
Abstract:
The NanomatIA project aims to accelerate the development of new materials for batteries through the use of artificial intelligence (AI), integrating nanotechnology and biotechnology. Its goal is to optimise the key components of electrochemical cells (anode, cathode and electrolyte) in order to improve their performance and sustainability.
To achieve this, an AI agent architecture will be developed capable of predicting and generating new material configurations in an automated way, based on experimental data and the state of the art. Specific and high-quality datasets will be built to overcome typical AI challenges such as data dispersion and information inconsistency.
With this approach, NanomatIA aims to create more efficient, sustainable and economically viable batteries, thereby driving innovation in the energy sector.
