Visiting Concentrated Solar Power Plants during SolarPACES 2018

In the framework of IN POWER project, a Horizon 2020 project coordinated by Leitat developing new CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) technologies, Elena Torralba, R&D Researcher from Leitat, had the opportunity of visiting NOOR I&III CSP plants at Ouarzazate (Morocco) during SolarPACES 2018 technical tour. NOOR III, at 150 MW, is considered the world’s second utility-scale Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) tower with molten salt storage.

She explained it was a great experience and she was completely surprised about the dimensions and capacity of the plants.
